- Prep Time: 15 min Cooking Time: 20 min
- 6 servings
- 1 1/4 pounds chicken tenders boneless skinless
- 1/2 cup white flour
- Salt and Pepper
- 6 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup Panko
- 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
Trim the fat from the chicken tenders. Prepare three bowls: one with white flour, about ¼ teaspoon of pepper, and about ½ teaspoon of salt; stir. In the second bowl, mix olive oil or melted butter with minced garlic. In the third bowl, combine basil, paprika, Panko breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese; stir well.
Coat each tender in the flour mixture first, then dip into the garlic oil, and finally coat with the Panko mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly and thoroughly covered.
Place the tenders in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 9 minutes, flip them, and cook for another 8-9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove and enjoy immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
