Minced Meat Patties- French Style

A really good dinner. My tip is to double the recipe for the steaks !


  • Prep Time: 20 min Cooking Time: 20 min.

  • 4 servings

Steaks:

  • 400-500 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 bag of French onion soup (powder)
  • 1 dl of milk
  • black pepper, coarsely ground

Cream Sauce:

  • 5 dl cream
  • 1.5-2 meat bouillon cubes
  • 2 tbsp blackcurrant jelly
  • a dash of Chinese soy
  • Thickener (Maizena)

Steaks:

Mix a bag of French onion soup with 1 dl of milk and let this swell for about 10 minutes. Mix the onion soup into the mince. Shape into patties. Fry the steaks in a frying pan on medium heat.

Sauce:

Place all ingredients except the stock in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Make thicker with Maizena.

Serve with wedge potatoes, oven-roasted carrots and salad.
