This story began in the year 508 AD, when a Roman soldier wandered deep into the wild forests of northern Britain.
He finds a plant with a very strange appearance: “Monstrulia Gigantus”. A kind of meat-eating plant that grows slowly in the cold and wet weather in the north.

He brings a small specimen home to Rome to show the Emperor.
After a while the plant grows and becomes a large plant, it then loses some leaves that the animals in the gladiatorial arena get by mistake.
As you can probably tell, this has dire consequences…

The common animals, the lions, the buffaloes, the wolves and the other animals that the gladiators fight against, grow into terrible monsters in the arenas.
The Romans now have got more than they asked for…the question is who will last the longest…
