Then pour the hot milk mixture over the egg beater while constantly beating.<\/p>\n<p>Strain everything back into the pan and boil to the thickness you want for the cream.<\/p>\n<p>Whisk in the butter when the cream is removed from the heat &#8211; whisk constantly until the cream is smooth.
