Enjoy !<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeweb.nu\/recepies\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/03\/time.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prep Time: 15 min Cooking Time: 1 hour<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-73\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeweb.nu\/recepies\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/03\/number.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4 serves<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeweb.nu\/recepies\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/03\/ingredients2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 tbsp sunflower oil<\/li>\n<li>1 large onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>2-3 medium carrots, chopped<\/li>\n<li>500g pack lamb mince<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp tomato pur\u00e9e<\/li>\n<li>large splash Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li>500ml beef stock<\/li>\n<li>900g potatoes, cut into chunks<\/li>\n<li>85g butter<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17\" src=\"https:\/\/www.freeweb.nu\/recepies\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/03\/cooking.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Heat 1 tbsp sunflower oil in a medium saucepan, then soften 1 chopped onion and 2-3 chopped carrots for a few mins.<\/p>\n<p>When soft, turn up the heat, crumble in 500g lamb mince and brown, tipping off any excess fat.<br \/>\nAdd 2 tbsp tomato pur\u00e9e and a large splash of Worcestershire sauce, then fry for a few mins.<\/p>\n<p>Pour over 500ml beef stock, bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 40 mins, uncovering halfway.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, heat the oven to 180C\/fan 160C\/gas 4, then make the mash. Boil the 900g potato, cut into chunks, in salted water for 10-15 mins until tender. Drain, then mash with 85g butter and 3 tbsp milk.<\/p>\n<p>Put the mince into an ovenproof dish, top with the mash and ruffle with a fork. The pie can now be chilled and frozen for up to a month.<\/p>\n<p>Bake for 20-25 mins until the top is starting to colour and the mince is bubbling through at the edges. (To bake from frozen, cook at 160C\/fan 140C\/gas 3 for 1 hr-1 hr 20 mins until piping hot in the centre.
